Day 1:
Arrival Chandigarh - Dharamshala(Approx. 250 km 6-7 hours)
Your journey begins from Chandigarh, Enjoy the scenic drive through the foothills of Himachal Pradesh as you ascend towards Dharamshala, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama. On arrival in Dharamshala by late afternoon or early evening, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, you can explore the local market or visit the peaceful Naddi View Point to witness a beautiful sunset over the Dhauladhar ranges.
Day 2:
Dharamshala Local Sightseeing
Reach Dharamshala within 10 hrs and check into the hotel. visit Local Market & Kotwai Bazaar, Dharamsala has everything for a perfect holiday. It features tranquil Waterfalls, Out-stretched Tea gardens, and cricket stadium for sports lovers, holiness due to Dalai Lama’s presence, calm and peaceful environment, cover Mcleodganj and Tsuglagkhang complex. It is the official residence of 14th Dalai Lama which also hosts Namgyal Gompa, Tibet museum, Mclordganj library, cafe and a souvenir shop. Other interesting places to cover in Dharamshala will be Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, St. John Church, War Memorial, Cricket Stadium and local market. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 3:
Dharamshala - Dalhousie (120 Km/5-6 Hr)
Enjoy your morning meal, check out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie. The place is also famous with the name of “Mini Switzerland of India” due to its similar landscapes to that of Switzerland. Arrive & transfer to Dalhousie hotel. Rest of the day will be free to explore the local Market. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4:
Khajjiar and Dalhousie Local Sightseeing
Today after heartily breakfast cover Khajjiar sightseeing (22 Kms from Dalhousie). Khajjiar is a place where one can easily spend whole day by admiring the beauty of sparkling Khajjair Lake and lush greenery surrounding it. Later hit the roads to Dalhousie. On the way back, we will take a halt at Panchpula Waterfall and churches of St. John’s. Other interesting places to cover nearby Dalhousie will be churches St. Francis & St. Patricks, Subhash Chowk and Tibetan Market and drive (Overnight Journey) to Delhi Airport/ railway station for drop with ever memorable moments of your exotic trip…
Day 5:
Departure from Chandigarh (Approx. 320 km / 8-9 hours)
Today is a travel day as you make your way back from the hills to the plains. Start early from Dalhousie after breakfast for the drive back to Chandigarh. Conclude your journey with memories of serene landscapes, spiritual tranquility, and colonial Charm
