Then move on to one of the highlights of Kuala Lumpur the Petronas Twin Towers. Don`t forget to take a picture of the tallest twin structure in the world. Visit the Menara KL or KL Tower`s observatory deck from where you will get a birds eye view of the city. KL-Tower`s architecture reflects the country`s Islamic heritage with the construction detailing Arabic Scripts, Islamic tiles, classic Islamic floral and abstract motifs and soothing colour combinations.

Full Day trip to Malacca

You`ll travel approximately two hours south of Kuala Lumpur on a day trip to Malacca, the oldest trading port in Malaysia. You will then visit St. Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan’s Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to view the famous gateway. ‘Port De Santiago’ and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is “Red Square” – the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today house the Malacca Museum and government offices. Visit Christchurch before proceeding for lunch, we visit the ‘Abode Merciful Clouds’ or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple – the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese belief under the same roof, viz : Taoim, Buddhism and Confucianism. Take a stroll along Malacca’s Jonker Street, which ends by the banks of the Malacca river.
A relaxing, scenic 2.5-hour drive south of Kuala Lumpur takes you to Malacca, the oldest trading port in Malaysia which had undergone Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Visit Stadhuys or the Dutch Square and take a walk up St. Paul`s Hill for a panoramic view of the Malacca Straits and the old town of Bandar Hilir. At the top are the ruins of St. Paul`s Church, lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Stop for a typical `Nyonya` lunch before taking a stroll through the Antiques Row at Jonker Street. ( nyanya food are not a vegetable food – so indian will have problem with this ) Next, visit the famous Portuguese Fort de Santiago and Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. If time permits, you`ll also get to take a photo stop at Morten Village, a typical Malay village on the way back.
